Well said, Karen. Time is flying by, and getting faster, so we'll take as many good years as possible. I hope everyone has a good Christmas with family and friends. While I'm at it, I'll get my plug in to have everyone reach out to other classmates that you know e-mail addresses for. I know, Mrs Richardson would cringe at my syntax. There will be a USPS mailing of postcards after the first of the year, so hopefully we can cajole a few more to get with the program and save on stamps. Merry Christmas !

Clyde, I would like to get something going with our class.

The Roxy Theater committe, which I am a part of, is working on a fund raiser for the theather to adopt-a-seat.  The Roxy committee is having a fund drive to buy new seats for the theater. When it first opened back up almost 7  years ago, the committee at the time did not have the funds for new seats so used ones were bought and installed.

For a $150 donation your name will be forever with be linked with the Roxy.

what a wonderful way to support our city and the theater.  Just remember how much fun we all had as kids going to the Roxy every weekend, maybe sitting in the balcony.

We are only replacing the seats on the main floor, which is 170.

I was hoping you could send this email out as a blast of everyone you have email addresses for.  If not possible, that's okay too.  If we raise another $2500 we have a local person willing to match up to $5000.  We would then have enough money to sucure the purchase of the seats.
