Roger's grandmother owned the Dog N Suds.  Roger and I worked the night shift the summer between our sophomore and junior year.  He washed dishes, I carhopped.  Boy could play the drums!  Sharon Price Day

I also have fond memories of Roger during high school working at the Dog 'n Suds, riding around town and living in the same area at SIU. He invited me to join a group of guys who called themselves the BMAP's!  I think I was good for driving them around while they sobered up enough to go home.

We both had sons named Benjamin.

Roger and I also worked together at Dog 'n Suds the summer between Freshman and Sophomore years.  I always got an outstanding cheeseburger and fries for supper, then back to washing mugs.  Roger was a pro at putting a head of foam on the root beers, and barking out the orders for food and getting them out the door.  Pay was pretty slim,  but good times, as that was the turn-around spot for the cruisers with the cool cars.
