I always felt a special bond with Mike. We shared December birthday and loved that we were some of the oldest in the class and of course got our drivers license first. High school was a fun time with Mike. I've missed being able to communicate with him over the years. It saddens me that he had such a miserable experience in the war that he never really got over. Rest in peace!
