Happy Birthday,Dave! I just realized it was your birthday. I've been watching out for spring here near Middle Tennessee, hoping you all are still planning a trip south to Nashville.

We are doing well, working to start a garden and really get a handle on the house. That is no mean feat, but we are fortunate to be dealing for the most part with a modern ('70's) house rather than a multi-staged more historic house. The other house was a really nice one for us at the stage we were in then, but this one has its challenges, too.

Hope all is well with you. I was very sorry to hear about your mother"s passing. It was already fifteen years ago that I saw you in S-ville at her 75th birthday celebration!

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a beautiful woman. Do you still have your father?

I think of you when we have to pass by Atlanta Motor Speedway on the way to something that is not available here in Thomaston. Hope the NASCAR circuit is good to you and Dixie.
